Abstract
There are chapters on how adult learning can be enhanced, learners in adulthood, working individually with adults, assimilating a personalized approach in your teaching, fostering a shared responsibility between instructor and learner, six steps to individualizing instruction, assessing learner needs, the use of learning contracts, evaluating learners, nontraditional and informal settings, responding to the needs of special audiences, and realizing the potential of a personalized approach. There also is a resource section for individualizing instruction.
