This document provides details on typesetting and layout requirements pertaining to final manuscript submission to University of Tennessee Mathematical Journal.

Congratulations on your newly accepted article. Please ensure the manuscript is thoroughly proofread and free of grammatical or typographical errors. Additionally, authors are responsible for providing a high-quality LaTeX version of the article using the utmj.cls class file to generate the final PDF.

LaTeX Requirements

To prepare your manuscript in LaTeX, use the following class file. To LaTeX a sample file, download the following two files

• LaTeX2e Class file utmj.cls
• Sample TeX file sampleUTMJ.tex

in a same directory/folder, then LaTeX the sample-art.tex file. Prepare your manuscript taking the sample into consideration. See also

• sampleutmj.pdf.

Please prepare the high-quality LaTex file using utmj.cls file that generate the PDF (Adobe's Portable Document Format) file. It is the authors' responsibility to proofread the article carefully and to correct typos and grammar errors.

A few important notices

1. Submit your manuscript, including tables, figures, appendices, etc., as a single file in PDF.
2. Page size should be 8.5 x 11-inches.
3. All margins (left, right, top and bottom) should be 1.5 inches (3.8 cm), including your tables and figures.
4. Single space your text.
5. Use a single column layout with both left and right margins justified.
