Abstract
Assisted parking systems have become increasingly essential to modern vehicles to aid drivers in safely maneuvering into parking spaces. This paper presents the design and implementation of an Arduino-based assisted parking system, intended to measure distances and control an output device based on those measurements. The device utilizes an ultrasonic sensor, which emits sound waves and measures the time taken for the waves to reflect back, allowing for accurate distance calculations. The system is programmed to produce an auditory output depending on the distance calculation. It offers a practical application for proximity-based control in environments where auditory feedback is necessary - such as in a parking situation.
