Open Educational Resources (OER)
Creative Commons describes Open Educational Resources (OER) as "teaching, learning, and research materials that are either (a) in the public domain or (b) licensed in a manner that provides everyone with free and perpetual permission to engage in the 5R activities [retain, reuse, revise, remix, redistribute].“
The collections below contain both OER-related presentations and advocacy resources, as well as OER created by UT faculty and affiliated researchers. For more information on OER, visit UT Libraries' Open Education Portal.
