Abstract
As a continuation of the practicum study, this thesis used a questionnaire to determine the relationship between the level of recreation participation of undergraduates according to their school year and again five years after they graduate. This study also examines the primary motivations for participating in recreation and whether gender affects the leadership roles of both undergraduates and five years after they graduate. Did the fact that students participated in physical recreation while they were in college make them more likely to participate in physical recreation several years after graduating? Or are more adults participating in recreation now than were participating as students? Is physical fitness the primary motivation of the subjects studied for participation in recreation at both age increments?
