Abstract
The main object of this research was to study the effect of feed, stage of lactation and the season of the year on the free fatty acid of fresh, raw milk in the University herd. It was realized that this experiment could not be designed to isolate the effect of any single factor influencing lipase activity; however, free fatty acid values over a complete year would give valuable information that may be useful in planning other research.
