Abstract
The present study was made for the purpose of considering possible solutions to the above stated problem. The main purposes of this investigation, then, were:
1. To summarize and analyze the results of research work on diffusion and adoption of new farm practices according to a generally accepted classification scheme.
2. To identify and consider the implications of these results for extension education.
3. To make suggestions for application of such implications to the Community Development Program of India.
