Abstract
The major physical resources of the county are its soils. The main objective was to determine for various models the productivity of these soils for the major crops. The first step was to determine how the soils were being used and their total production at the present time. The second step was to find out if total production of crops in the county could be increased by using the soils in a different manner in several models. The final step was to determine whether the gains in total production associated with changes in the allocation of soil resources were justified considering the addition of physical inputs necessary to reallocate the soil resources where additional are necessary.
