Abstract

The objectives of the study were (1) to record the soil-borne organisms causing seeding diseases of cotton in Tennessee, (2) to study the effects of certain environmental factors on the growth and pathogenicity of the causal organisms and on disease development, and (3) to evaluate fungicides applied directly to the soil by in-furrow treatment in the control of seedling diseases of cotton.
