Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the possibility of the use of Tetrafluoroethylene in farm equipment to reduce friction. The study is confined to the determination of the coefficient of friction of the following agricultural materials with Teflon and to observe their friction characteristics to decide whether there will be reduction in friction in using Teflon in farm equipment:
1. Hay.
2. Grass ensilage.
3. Long alfalfa.
4. Chopped alfalfa.
