Abstract
The problem was to determine the safety practices of teachers of vocational agriculture in farm mechanics shops in Georgia. The problem was divided into objectives to give specific direction to the study. The three major objectives were: 1. To identify the types of accidents that happened most frequently in farm mechanics shops in Georgia. 2. To determine the nature and causes of those accidents. 3. To determine methods, practices, and devices that were used by teachers of vocational agriculture in conducting a school shop safety program.
