Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the agricultural manpower needs of Claiborne County.

It was the aim of this study to aid in planning the local program of instruction in vocational agriculture by obtaining answers to the following questions: (1) What are the off-farm agricultural occupations in Claiborne County? (2) What are the replacement needs in agricultural occupations? (3) What are the number of farmers engaged in production farming? (4) What are the replacement needs for production farmers?
