Abstract

The purposes of this study in a sample of select bull calves were:

1. To determine the effect of age-of-dam on pre-weaning, weaning, and post-weaning traits.

2. To definitely determine if calf age is a source of significance or pre-weaning, weaning, and post-weaning traits.

3. To establish the association among all traits.

4. To determine if the present adjustment for age-of-dam on average daily gain at pre-weaning and weaning is appropriate for selected bull calves.
