Abstract
Objectives: The objectives of this study are:
To determine the growth pattern of red spruce populations by analyzing the tree ring series of canopy populations
To compare the growth patterns of red spruce populations on south and north facing slopes.
To compare the growth patterns of the noncanopy populations and canopy populations.
