Abstract
The construction of an audio frequency oscillator was undertaken through the suggestion of Professor C. A. Perkins, who was desirous of having an oscillator of permanent design for use in laboratory experimentation. Consequently the work undertaken by the author has been principally constructional in nature, with little thought given to the theory of the oscillator, or the possibilities of research through its use. While little theory was used in the construction, a knowledge of the general theory involved was necessary for the completion of the project.
In the following pages a brief account will be given of the theory involved, the details of the construction, and the method used in the calibration of the oscillator.
