Abstract

The writer had the motor in his possession and as nothing could be found regarding boats of this kind he was curious to find out how one would perform and if it would act as the calculations indicated, Several shapes of hull were considered but the one selected was unusual and quite different from ones in use. This hull and the method of propulsion seemed to fit together well so a hull as will be described was used, Many interesting problems presented themselves in the course of construction but from the test it may be seen that each one was solved and its operation was satisfactory.
