Abstract
A study was undertaken on the Hard Rock North area of the Fabius Coal Mines in Jackson County, Alabama, to aid in the determination of the source of a seep. This evaluation provided information concerning the land conditions prior to mining, during mining and after reclamation through the use of multidate and multiscale aerial photography. Also, a fracture trace analysis of the area determined that the main stream channel prior to mining was fracture controlled.
