Abstract
The use of a multiplicity cut introduces a bias which distorts the Bose-Einstein correlation of a quantum statistical formalism, and this reveals that the bias has a substantial effect on the estimate of the true correlation length and chaoticity. It also reveals a strong antibunching effect at a fixed event multiplicity, as has been observed experimentally.
