This report provides a detailed analysis on the economic feasibility of the introduction of Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries into the power grid. Specifically this report deals with the real life case where the flow of the solutions occur at a finite flow rate in which voltage generation drops as the solution concentration drops through the cells. This flow rate through the cells is then optimized based on net power generation through any given discharge cycle.
