The majority of these files come from material dating back to 1975 that the Task Force on Blacks, which eventually became the Commission for Blacks, kept and saved. Note on metadata: Because there were so many files, all are uploaded with the author listed as "Commission for Blacks." However, many of the letters and other material were written by other authors.
