The University of Tennessee Extension's Family and Consumer Sciences unit supports families all across Tennessee with researched-based programming aimed at building healthy relationships, cultivating emotional wellness, supporting child and youth development, and providing support during family transitions. Initiatives center around five main focus areas -- family, food, health, home, and money -- with the focus to educate Tennessee residents on current issues affecting the daily lives of people across the state.
