2009 Freerange Video Contest

Dust off your guns and practice your stare, the Free Range ShootOut is coming... Beware!

The 2009 Free Range Video Contest event was held April 3-5, 2009. We broke with tradition this year and had a video shootout. During a preliminary meeting, participants voted to include specific elements such as prop, location type, and a line- that must be included in every entry. These elements were:

prop: Photograph
location type: Bench
a line: “You just won’t believe how vastly hugely mindbogglingly big it is.”
All participants then had 54 hours to complete and submit their entries.

What can you do with 54 hours?

Judges for the 2009 Free Range Video Contest:
Bob Legg, Professof, Journalism and Electronic Media
Steve Milewski, Senior Library Associate II, Hodges Library
Amy Nachtrab, Graduate Student in Counseling & Imagination Library Coordinator, Knox County Public Library System
Matthew Ownby, Sophomore & Studio Student Library Assistant
