We foster a collaborative, studio-driven environment where innovation, technology, and community engagement shape the future of design. Faculty, students and staff in our school advance the discipline by situating human-centered, spatially-driven interior architecture, maker culture and theories of interiority at the forefront of teaching and research in a wide array of formats. These include cross-disciplinary collaboration, diverse perspectives, digital fabrication and community engagement. Our students work on human-centered projects at local, regional, national, and global scales. Through our program, you will engage in different types of learning models, hand-drawing, model-making, and furniture and digital fabrication. You’ll work alongside students from across the college, fostering a collaborative environment where diverse perspectives spark innovation, enhance creativity, and lead to stronger, more integrated design solutions.
