Abstract
It is shown that integral full rank factorizations of an integral matrix A can be constructed in such a way that a canonical diagonal form of a matrix is not required in the formation of a Hurt-Waid generalized inverse of A . Given such a factorization it is shown that the definition of a Hurt-Waid generalized inverse can be extended somewhat.
