Abstract

Have you ever questioned where your food comes from? Going behind the scenes of a dairy farm in New Market, Tennessee exposes the tedious and time-consuming work of producing thousands of gallons of milk for Americans to consume. For Charlie Simpson and his son Parker, owning and operating Echo Valley Farms is more than a job, it’s a lifestyle. From a generation of dairy farmers, Charlie Simpson, who was raised on the farm, passed down his knowledge of the trade to Parker. The owners work seven days a week from 4:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. yet, they never think twice about their career choice.
