Abstract

A study of the lime requirement of certain Tennessee soils was initiated to determine: (1) the amount of lime required to raise the pH of various soils to any desired level and (2) the correlation between pH and lime requirement of soil as affected by texture, organic matter content, and leaching of the soil sample.
