Abstract

Since the study determined the opinions of the local people of the Puryear Community regarding the areas that should be included in the local program of work, it will enable the vocational agriculture teacher in the Puryear Community to more nearly meet the needs of the people concerned. It will serve as a means of evaluating the present program and improving the program in the future. The study will assist other teachers in developing the vocational agriculture programs in their communities. It will assist supervisors in evaluating and improving local programs of work. Finally, the study will project the thinking of the local people into the total vocational agriculture program.
