Abstract
"Production Techniques of Contemporary Professional Christian Dramatic Troupes" examines the techniques in an effort to gain insight into their use and success.

Chapter I explains the purpose and value of the thesis, examines the background of drama in religion, defines terms, explains the use of the letters and questionnaire, and explores the related literature. Chapter II is the explanation of the production techniques used in representational and presentational threatre. Chapter III contains the results of the questionnaire. Chapter IV has concluding remarks concerning the information gathered in this research.

The compilation of this information concerning the production techniques of contemporary professional Christian dramatic troupes will be of assistance primarily to church people who have no theatre background or experience and are called on to organize drama in their congregation.
