Abstract
CM is a cross-compiler, written in C, that runs on any computer using the U UNIX(R) Operating System and generates code for a z80 micro-computer. It is designed to be easily modified to generate code for a wide variety of micro-computers with architectures similar to the z80. Another design consideration is to provide a tool for teaching classes on compiler design and construction.
