Getting to the light : collected poems

This collection consists of approximately forty free-verse poems, primarily autobiographical, which explore childhood memories and relationships with family and others. The sections of the manuscript progress from the darkness of fearful and confusing memories, to glimpses of vision through the darkness, to the light of spiritual liberation. Images of darkness and light recur frequently in the poems.
