Abstract
Professor Roger Hiemstra participated in the 2012 SDL symposium panel on the benefits and challenges of incorporating self-directed learning into institutional learning environments. Professor participated at a distance via this video clip. He described what he was doing on this topic in a course on higher education leadership and how new technology was being incorporated into the course.
