Abstract

Little is known regarding what characteristics of "success" are related to self-directed learning. Finding some answers to this question should enable educators to be more successful, themselves, as they strive to focus their planning and course development efforts in terms of effectiveness and efficiency. Thus, this study developed some understanding of what it means to be a "successful" adult learner.
