Driven by two hearts : poems

The pages that follow comprise a collection of the poems this author has written or revised dioring her two-year term of study as a candidate for the Master's degree in English at the University of Tennessee. The poems articulate the author's opinions and feelings on a variety of subjects ranging from human relationships to nature to humor. These poems are accompanied by an introduction explaining the author's poetry aesthetic, which combines elements of rhythm, development of meaning, of expression and the subject's relevance to the speaker.
