Abstract

Large scale space simulators have been developed to study orbital operations, such as satellite servicing. One such simulator is the Teleoperator Robotics Development Facility (TRDF) at NASA - Marshall Space Flight Center. This paper discusses facility verification, especially for docking scenarios, including the development of a multibody dynamic computer simulation model for the facility. This model was developed using the TREETOPS computer simulation package. Test run results are presented, and future enhancements to both the computer model and the TRDF are described.
