A Study of Carbon Dioxide as a Refridgerant

Due to the many recent developments is new fields of refrigeration,and to the increasing use of Carbon Dioxide as a refrigerating medium,it is of improtance that anyone interested in this phase of industry should be acquainted with the more fundamental principals governing the use of CO₂. It is for this purpose that this thesis has been written. An attempt has been made to sift from a large mass of material the most important points,and to submit these in a logical and concise way. A greater part of the time has been spent on the construction of a Mollier Diagram,and the construction of superheat tables for Carbon Dioxide from this diagram.
