Abstract

The two problems submitted to analysis in this thesis were: first, the changes in the value of the discharge coefficient of a triangular weir, as affected by the degree of roughness of the weirplate; and second, the variations in the mean value of the coefficient with a rising head and with a falling head on the weir.
