Abstract

The solubilities of the sulphides of the common metals have been accurately determined in pure water by conductivity and electromotive methods. In our analytical works, however, we are interested in the solubility of the sulphides in solutions of varying hydrogen ion concentrations. It is the purpose of this v=investigation to measure directly the solubilities of the sulphides of nickel, cobalt, and cadmium in weak hydrochloric acid solutions.
