Abstract
This survey was made to determine the amount of damage to which the underground cable of the Cumberland Telephone Company at Knoxville was liable, from electrolysis due to stray currents at the time the survey was made. It deals briefly with the general principles of electrolysis, but consist chiefly of data, and an interpretation of the conditions as they affect the Cumberland Telephone Company's underground Plant at Knoxville only.
