The School of Information Sciences has been awarded a $446,988 grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to provide models to help librarians maximize their use of data on the use of electronic resources.

Dr. Carol Tenopir, the principal investigator on the three-year grant, will work with Gayle Baker and SIS graduate Eleanor Read of UT Libraries, Donald W. King, at the University of Pittsburgh, and SIS students to help librarians compare different ways of collecting data about how their users use electronic resources.
