Abstract

Three main objectives of this study are:

a) to classify the farms in a selected area of Tennessee into fairly homogeneous groups on the basis of acres of open land, soil patterns, and labor resources.

b) To formulate alternative farm plans for selected farms in several of the larger groups.

c) To study the feasibility of using these plans as guides for other farms in these groups, respectively.
