Management of dairy cattle breeding establishments

It is the purpose of this thesis to present and discuss the problems of farm management and dairy herd management as they apply particularly to the dairy cattle breeding establishment. Much has been written on farm management dealing with the ordinary type of farms of the country. However, the progressive breeding establishment is far from an ordinary farm and special application of farm management facts found in the literature must be made to the breeding establishment. Very little literature relating directly to this subject is to be found.
