Abstract
It is the purpose of this raper to record the data and results of the necessary calculations for a series of tests made on a twenty-five kilowatt compound generator of the Thompson-Ryan interpole type directly connected to an American Ball thirty-five horse-power engine.
These tests are complete in themselves but others might have been added. It was impossible, however, to do certain things which might have been desirable on account of the lack of time and also on account of insufficient data of the construction of the machine.
