Tests on an Automatic Radiator Valve

This thesis deals with some tests on an automatic radiator valve that is manufactured by the Fulton Sylphon Company of Knoxville, Tennessee, The details of design and manufacture are not dealt with at all. Other valves made by various companies could well be given the same tests regardless of the interior details. Since only one valve was used no effort was made to compare it with others based on the same theory of operation. The whole purpose was to investigate and devise tests that would prove or disprove the suitability of the valve for the purpose for which it is made.
