Abstract

A three-dimensional interactive graphics package, named MAKER3D, is proposed in this thesis. It is based on MAKER which is a two-dimensional figure creator for the Rascal animation system. Many computer graphics applications frequently require realism in the display of objects, for which two-dimensional graphics cannot meet. MAKER3D was created for a high degree of realism on APPLE II Microcomputers. It adds the third dimension for depth and clips the figure properly. Hidden surfaces and shadow control will be added on MAKER3D soon. The user can change the figure interactively, without prior experience or any knowledge of data structures.
