An investigation into the use of silos and silage for feeding dairy cows

This thesis is an account of an investigation conducted for the purpose of determining the circumstances under which silage may be made and fed to dairy cattle and some of the results obtained. Special emphasis is given to the findings of an original investigation conducted in Rutherford County, Tennessee, in June 1949.
