Abstract

This course is intended to give non-planners, including governmental administrators, planning commissioners, or interested laymen, an understanding of the role of the comprehensive plan and how it is prepared. The course should also help prepare non-planners work with planning professionals and to understand the process enough to participate effectively or exercise managerial oversight if necessary.
