Students will identify social and ecological issues in their communities, select an issue and an accompanying dataset, then create a data visualization using media arts, individually or in a group related to the issue they selected. The media arts storytelling resource contains an overview that outlines standards, objectives, and assessments and 14 days of instructional materials including lesson plans, slides, and resources. The media arts community resource contains an overview that outlines standards, objectives, and assessments and 3-day and 15-day versions of instructional materials including lesson plans, slides, and resources.
