Abstract

A Study of the operating efficiency of street railways, because of the general nature of the subject, becomes vital interest to every individual of the community served. Every person at some time or other has occasion to use the street car, and the street railway is, in truth a public servant; hence everyone is interested in knowing whether he is getting the maximum amount of service for the minimum fare paid.
