Abstract

THE full potential of gas–solid chromatography has not yet been revealed. Theoretically it could be used to obtain much greater selectivity and higher efficiency than gas–liquid chromatography^1–4. So far the characteristics required of an adsorbent have limited the use of gas–solid chromatography.
