Abstract

The pages that follow comprise a collection of the stories this author has written and revised during his two-year term of study as a candidate for the Master's degree in English at the University of Tennessee. The stories articulate the author's explorations of a number of characters and subjects, especially the nature of journeys. These stories are accompanied by an introduction explaining the author's concept of his fiction aesthetic, including the connections between elements of theory and their realization in his writing.
